Bitpanda will be supporting the upcoming migration of Polygon (MATIC) migration to Polygon (POL).
What this means for you On 1st of September at 2pm CEST, we will stop deposits and withdrawals of Polygon (MATIC) and all tokens on the Polygon Network. Trading of MATIC will be suspended on 4th of September at 00:01 am, CEST.
If you don’t want Bitpanda to complete this migration on your behalf please sell or withdraw these assets before 1st of September at 2pm CEST. After this date you will not be able to deposit or withdraw MATIC. Once the migration is complete you will be able to deposit and withdraw POL, all tokens on the Polygon network and POL on the Ethereum network as normal.
Any Polygon (MATIC) holdings will be swapped for Polygon (POL) at a ratio of 1 MATIC = 1 POL, and all staked funds will remain staked. As part of this process, any open limit orders and savings plans for MATIC will be closed. Once the migration to POL is complete, you will be able to open new limit orders and savings plans for this asset.
Please note: MATIC2L will also be under maintenance starting from 4th of September at 00:01 CEST. MATIC2L trading will resume as soon as the migration from MATIC to POL is completed. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us via our helpdesk.
